Where to ride and who it is meant for
Mongoose Dolomite is a bike suitable for off-road riding.
It packs a set of amusing features that make it ideal for use in extreme and most challenging trails including beaches, sand, dirt, snow and wet terrains.
This bike is unstoppable, and I can ride it all the way from the beaches up to the mountain peaks regardless of the weather, riding surface or season.
What I loved most about this fat bike

I really loved this one. There were no complexities in fixing and joining of parts in my bike.
Just a few tweaks to its derailleur and disc brake and I was good to go.
I didn’t even have to look at the manual because the assembly is straightforward.

Mongoose Dolomite is a fun-filled fat bike. It is not for competition, and this is why I recommend for heavy riders and beginners alike.

Whenever am tired and want to take a rest, I can simply prop my bike under a tree with the installed free kickstand.

A few drawbacks
Mongoose Dolomite also has its drawbacks. Although is one of the unique, comfortable, easy to ride and affordable fat tire bikes I’ve seen and used, it is still:
Not very suited for long rides
Dolomite is a bit heavier than most bikes particularly the mountain counterparts. The extra weight comes from the vast wheelset.
If you’re used to sprinting or cruising faster, then this bike may not suit you. The heaviness of this bike may not make it fit for long distance rides.
After long rides, the tires produce an unpleasant smell. It is just for fun.
Has noisy brakes
Front brakes are prone to making squealing sounds after some time. I presume it is a sign that braking needs some tuning or replacement.
Gear shifter sometimes changes unnecessarily
Sometimes the gear shifter changes on its own. Be sure to inspect and test it out before climbing steep hills that really need it.
Although it is not always problematic, it can ruin your smooth ride, especially when climbing uphill.

Mongoose Dolomite is one of the top-rated and most affordable fat bikes out there.
The excellent traction combined with the smooth rides make it a great bike to have on hand in all sorts of environments.
I also can’t complain much because of the affordable price. If you’re looking for an entry-level fat bike without spending too much, then this is an excellent pick.
